Clients ask me "Can we invest in mango trees through installment payments?"
Well, Good Harvest had made an arrangement with Dept. of Education, Commission on Higher Education and Philippine Board of Cooperatives giving teachers and Cooperatives special priviledge to invest on installment basis.
How are the payment options?
Teachers and cooperatives have these payment options:
50% downpayment = P17,900 per tree and the balance shall be payable in 18months = P995 per month per tree, with 0% interest, and if they invest in 5 trees, 1 income generating mango tree shall be entitled to the investor for free.
Or
2years equal monthly installment of P1500/per tree with 0% interest, and if they invest in 10trees, 1 income-generating mango tree shall be entitled to the investor for free.
With Good Harvest, the maturity of your investment will start immediately after you have made your first installment payment!
That means, if you made the first payment for your 2year installment plan for 4year old mango trees today, you only have to wait 1 year and 364 days before your investment generate income, even if you are not yet fully paid! Besides your mango tree will keep growing even if your funding is not yet fully paid.
That's waaaaay much better than any pre-need plan that I know of. Does any pre-need plan offers benefits for more than 100years even if you're already dead and gone? I bet there's none.
What if I'm not a teacher nor a Cooperative, can I still invest through installment?
If there's a will, there's a way!
What you can do, is find a teacher or Cooperative and invest in his/her name and that teacher/cooperative shall sign a memorandum of agreement that he/she will transfer the title for these mango trees to you (since the certificate of ownership is fully assignable and transferable) once they are fully paid.
If you do not know any teacher or cooperative, well…I could find one for you! Both my parents are teachers by the way…
So there you go, you can invest P1500 per month per tree for 2 years 0% interest. And right after you paid your investments, your assets will already start generating profits back to you! Again, these are already 4year old mango trees!
